Vero Beach, FL – Weston Record threw a two-hit shutout to help Ancilla College conclude their Spring trip to Florida with a 1-0 win over Bay College Thursday afternoon. The shutout was the second in a row for the Ancilla pitching staff.
Bryce Huntley doubled home the game's lone run for the Chargers (5-10) when he scored Jordan Garcia who had reached on an error.
Record picked up his second win of the season. He struck out four. Ancilla has won three straight games.
The Chargers returned home to news that their season was halted until April 3. By Monday, the NJCAA had decided to cancel the entire spring season.
