RALLY FALLS SHORT FOR CHARGERS

 Plymouth, IN – Ancilla College overcame a 12-point second half deficit, and got within one point of #19 Muskegon with 2.4 seconds remaining, but could not take the lead before time ran out. The Jayhawks (17-4, 12-0) used two free throws from Vegas Grazulis to set the final score at 89-86 in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association game between the conferences' top two teams.

 Rico Swanson, Jr. led the Chargers (15-5, 9-3) with 19 points and 10 assists. Isiah James had 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Mike Hemingway scored 14 points before fouling out. Jalen Fountain came off the bench to score 10 points, including a free throw that got Ancilla to within 86-87 with four seconds left.  

 Ancilla is back in action on Wednesday when they play at Grand Rapids. Game time is 7:30 p.m.
