CHARGERS FALL LATE AT LANSING

CHARGERS FALL LATE AT LANSING

Lansing, MI – Mike Hemingway's career-high 25 points and five assists was not enough to get the Chargers a win on the road, as Lansing Community College broke a 76-76 tie in the final seconds to beat Ancilla 79-76 Saturday afternoon.

Shak Johnson added 14 points off the bench for the Chargers (18-6, 12-4), with Josh Alcindor and Isiah James scoring 11 each.  Clark Wells also had double figures, scoring 10 points.

Ancilla is back at home Monday for a 7:30 p.m. start against Mid Michigan College, which is on a six-game winning streak.  The Lakers are presently third in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association, one game behind the Chargers, who are in second place. Monday is also Sophomore Night.
