Chargers Use Second Half to Defeat Mid Michigan

      Harrison, MI – No. 5 Ancilla College used the second half to pull away and beat Mid Michigan 79-57 Friday night in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association game.

     Caleb Brown led the fifth ranked Chargers (7-0, 4-0) with 18 points. Jakylen Thomas scored 17 and Rico Swanson, Jr., added 13 points.

     Ancilla is the only undefeated team in the MCCAA conference after the first round of play. The team has used the second half several times to pull away for a solid victory. Coach Brian Pearison said, "This team just refuses to lose."   

     Ancilla host Glen Oaks Community College on Tuesday and will travel to Grand Rapids on Friday.
