Dylan Pohl Rolls Men's High Score, Team Finishes 6th at Muskegon Invitational

The MU Ancilla Chargers Men's Bowling Team headed north to Muskegon, MI to take part in the Muskegon Community College Invitational, their 2nd tournament of the year.  It was Dylan Pohl who earned a big honor, rolling the highest game score of the tournament.  Pohl's 244 in Game 3 bested Lane Kellogg from Jackson CC and Pohl's Charger teammate, Sean White, both of whom rolled games of 242.  Pohl's 244 is a season best and helped him earn a 3rd place overall finish out of the 51 bowlers who completed their series of 3 games.  His score of 635 was behind only a 644 and a 648.  Sean White finished his day a very strong 7th overall with a series score of 612.

Overall, the Chargers finished in 6th place out of 10 teams with an overall score of 3,923.  In addition to Pohl and White, Kody Horan scored a 527 followed by Colin Burger's 463.  Peter Kenney rounded out scoring for MU Ancilla with a 354.  Jackson College took the team title with a score of 4647.

MU Ancilla will return to action on January 20th when they travel to the Jackson College Invitational which will take place in Albion, MI and starts at 11:00 AM.
