The MU Ancilla Men's Bowling Team completed their MCCAA tournament schedule and saw two bowlers, Sean White and Dylan Pohl, earn All-MCCAA Western Conference awards.  Dylan Pohl (FR - New Prairie HS) was named to the MCCAA Western Conference All-Freshman Team after an outstanding freshman season.  Dylan's season was highlighted by his performance at the Muskegon CC Invitational where he earned the high score of the tournament with a 244.  His 244 paced him to a 3rd place overall finish on the day.

For his freshman season, Dylan's average of 184.6 placed him 4th amongst all freshman bowlers in the Western Conference.

Sean White (FR - Ben Davis HS) finished a fantastic freshman campaign by earning three MCCAA awards.  Sean was named the MCCAA Western Conference Freshman of the Year for his stellar play and also earned a spot on the MCCAA Western Conference All-Freshman Team.  His average of 192.6 was tops amongst all freshman in the league.

Sean was also earned to the MCCAA Western Conference All-Conference Team.  He finished ranked 5th in the conference overall.  His season was highlighted by his high individual game score of 247 and high series score of 622 at the Glen Oaks CC Invitational.

Coach Chassity Masterson was very pleased with her two freshman earning All-MCCAA honors.  "Dylan had a great 1st year as a collegiate bowler!  He was consistent throughout which is what a coach is looking for and also rose up and had the top score of the tournament at Muskegon which shows what he is capable of when he is at his best.  I am excited to see him continue to develop his skills and become an even bigger part of our team next year."

Masterson had great things to say about Sean White as well.  "For Sean to step in and finish 5th overall and also be the top freshman in the MCCAA Western Division is quite an accomplishment.  He was very consistent throughout the season and really stepped up with his best at the last two tournaments.  Sean has a lot of potential and I look forward to seeing him grow as a bowler as we head in to next season."
