Jackson, MI – The Ancilla College men's soccer team had to make two trips to Michigan in three days, but it was worth it as they beat Jackson College 2-0 Monday night in a game originally halted on Saturday due to lightening.
Sophomore Francisco Hernandez scored in the first half for the Chargers (1-0, 1-0) off an assist from Miguel Ayala. Myles Peterson added the final score of the game in the second half off a Brandon Santos assist. Nate Hutsell got the shutout in goal. He had six saves.
Ancilla hosts those same Jets on Wednesday with a 4 p.m. start.
