Conder Headlines Men's Performances in Indianapolis

Thursday, the Marian University Ancilla Track & Field team traveled to Indianapolis to participate in the Knights Open at Marian University. Below is a quick highlight of the top performances by the Charger men's team.

- Sophomore Christian Conder of Chesterton, Indiana, stood out amongst Charger performers with an outstanding effort in the Javelin. The Trojan grad fired off a throw of 40.43 meters, finishing in 3rd Place overall at the meet!

- Sophomore David Schadek of nearby Plymouth, Indiana, ran a new personal best in the Steeple Chase event. His time of 10:57 allowed him to break the 11-minute barrier for the first time in his career.

- Back in his home town, Sophomore Tolulope Oluwafemi of Indianapolis (Lawrence Central H.S.) performed well in the Shot Put. The former Bear threw a distance of 11.3 meters, which was good enough for 17th Place in the event.

Congratulations to those three and the entire team for a nice day in Indy!! The Track & Field team returns to action this Saturday when they attend the Manchester Invitational at Manchester University. Please come out and support these student-athletes, if you are able!!
