Saturday, the Marian University Ancilla men's Track & Field team attended the Sycamore Open at Indiana State University. Individually, several Chargers stood out in their events. Below is a look at some highlights from the action in Terre Haute, Indiana.

- The biggest highlight for the men's team was probably Sophomore Chris Vargas of Valparaiso, Indiana, setting a personal best in the long jump event. Chris jumped a distance of 6.15 meters, which was good enough to land him in 7th place overall.

- Sophomore Max Kendzicky of Mishawaka, Indiana, stood out in the 800 meter run, finishing 7th overall with a time of 2:41.66.

- The shot put field was pretty strong, but Sophomore Tolulope Oluwafemi of Indianapolis, Indiana, was still able to set a personal best distance of 11.31 meters on his best throw. He finished 12th overall in the event.

Sophomores Christian Conder (Javelin) and Chris Vargas (Long Jump) will be participating in the Last Chance Invitational on May 7th at Grand Valley State University. Please come out and support them, if you are able!!
