Plymouth, IN – Ancilla took a 15-point advantage in the first half and played just well enough to stay in front as they claimed their second Michigan Community college Athletic Association win this week, a 76-63 win over Lake Michigan College.
Talia Bee led all scorers with 31 points, as she connected on seven of 11 three-point baskets in the contest. Cierra Spearman and Hadassah Harris each scored 14 for the Lady chargers (8-6, 2-3).
Ancilla lost the services of Harris with five minutes left in the third quarter when she left the game with a dislocated shoulder. Jaela Meister spent most of the game in foul trouble and played sparingly. Meister is currently ranked 9th in NJCAA DII in rebounds per game with 11.8
The Lady Chargers host Lansing Community College at 1 p.m. Saturday at the LifePlex in Plymouth.
