Plymouth – Alaya Chapman hit the winning basket with 11 seconds left Tuesday night to give Ancilla College a 66-64 win over Glen Oaks in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association game at the LifePlex Tuesday night.
Chapman finished with 19 points and 12 rebounds, with Destiny Allen adding 14 points and seven assists. Kaylie Gayheart was in double-figures for the second straight game, scoring 10. The Lady Chargers (3-7, 1-4) kept within a couple of points of the visitor the entire second half. Timely free throws and a tightly placed assist from Gayheart set up the final score. Gayheart then blocked Glen Oaks shot on the other end to seal the win.
