The MU Ancilla Wrestling Team took to the mats at St. Clair College for the MCCAA Duals on December 17th and came away with some impressive individual performances.  The Chargers were defeated in each of the team competitions but that did not take away from some impressive days from Chris Bullock in the 133 lbs. weight class and Reese Hamblen in the 149 lbs. weight class.  Bullock finished an outstanding day at 4-0.  This raised his season record to an impressive 9-3 with 5 pins.  Hamblen followed closely behind at 3-1 which raised his record to 8-4 on the season, 7 of which have come via pin.  

Head Coach Mark Line was happy with the continued growth of his wrestlers.  "I was very pleased by how well Chris and Reese who continue to lead our team.  Having those two go 7-1 on the day is outstanding.  We need to continue to develop our other guys throughout the season to increase team success.  Our guys are working hard and making progress."

The Chargers will return to the mat on January 4th when they will take on Trine University in a dual meet followed by a trip to St. Louis on January 7th for the Maryville Open.
