Entering his second year, Mark Line had a regional champion and an 8^th place finisher at the NJCAA nationals in his first year of coaching at Ancilla College. He had two other wrestlers just miss the NJCAA medal rounds with close losses in their final matches. Three wrestlers also placed at regionals.

  He was a very successful high school coach before arriving at Ancilla.  He has coached at Kankakee Valley High School, Valparaiso High School, Boone Grove, North Newton, Lowell, and Knox.

  In high school, he coached 43 conference champions, 64 sectionals champions, 190 regional qualifiers and 16 regional champions. Seventy-five of his wrestlers have made it to the Indiana semi-state level and five have won state championships. Nine of his former wrestlers are coaching the sport.
