Grayling, MI -The Ancilla College Women's Cross Country team placed 10th on Friday at the Kirtland Firebird Invitational. Abbigail Griffin led the Lady Chargers with a 37th place finish in 25:56.8., Alexia Nickrent was 44th in 27:29.2, and Rae Stiles clocked a 35:41.7 time to finish 58th. Ancilla placed 10th in the event with 248 points.
Grand Rapids Kiah Becker won the race with a 21:07.1 finish. The Raiders also won the 13-team meet with 38 points.
