The MU Ancilla Baseball team opened up MCCAA play on Tuesday and came out with a dramatic win over the visiting Glen Oaks Vikings by a final score of 6-4.  Bryce Woodruff (SO - Decatur, IN) was very strong on the mound, going 7 1/3 innings to earn his first win of the season.  Woodruff's outing included a season-high 8 strikeouts.  Austin Hear came in for relief and earned his first save of the year, going 1 2/3 innings.  

Kennon Kemp was the offensive hero for the Chargers, coming through with a 2-run game-winning double.  

The Chargers improved to 2-17 on the season and 1-0 in MCCAA play.  They will return to action on Friday when they will take on Kellogg Community College.
