Charger Cheerleaders Connect With Catherine Kasper Home Residents

DONALDSON, IN – Members of the Ancilla Co-Ed Cheerleading team spent time last week getting to know some of the residents of the Catherine Kasper Home.

The Charger Cheerleaders spent an afternoon learning more about the people that reside in the Home by sharing stories, discussing life as Ancilla students, and even joining the afternoon prayers.

"These residents have led fascinating lives," says Head Cheer Coach Delia Nicholls. "We enjoyed our afternoon listening to their experiences, and plan on making our visits more regular. It's an awesome thing to have this home right on our campus; the visits benefit us as much as they do the residents."

The team hopes to meet even more residents on their next visit, and build stronger connections with those they already had the opportunity to spend time with.
