Bryce Taberski, a Freshman from Brandywine High School in Niles, Michigan has been named the Marian University Ancilla Male Athlete of the Week for the week of August 22-August 27.  Bryce was named after leading the Chargers soccer team to a 10-0 win to start their season against Lake Michigan, a game in which Bryce scored 3 goals. 

Bryce is really excited about the start to the season.  "The first conference game was great!  We have had great communication and have been working hard to achieve team success.  Our work ethic has been off the charts."  When asked for his team goals and his individual goals, Bryce provided some very specific goals the team has in mind.  "We want to have an undefeated season, win the MCCAA, and push to make it all the way to Nationals."

The 20th ranked Men's Soccer team is off to a 3-0-1 start which includes a 2-0 start to MCCAA play.  They will return to the field on Saturday at Schoolcraft College for a 3:00 start.
