Jayci Allen, a 5'10 Freshman from Richmond, IN and Richmond High School was named the MCCAA Western Conference Player of the Week for the week of November 28th through December 3rd.  For the week, Jayci totaled 37 points and 28 rebounds to lead MU Ancilla to two wins.  On November 28th, Allen scored 23 points on 10-19 shooting and added 10 rebounds to lead the Chargers to a 55-43 win over Indiana Tech's JV team.  She followed that up on Thursday at Henry Ford College where she finished with 14 points and an astounding 19 rebounds, 15 of which were on the defensive end.  Jayci also added 4 steals as the Chargers defeated Henry Ford 59-24.

For the season, Jayci is averaging 13.5 points and 12.3 rebounds per game.  She is on a current streak of 5 straight games with a double-double.  During that streak, she is averaging 17.6 points per game and 15.4 rebounds per game for the 7-3 Chargers.

Jayci is the 2nd MU Ancilla player to earn Western Conference Player of the Week honors, joining Kyra Duncan who earned the award during the 1st week of the season.
