Women's Basketball

Ryan joined the Marian University Ancilla family during the Summer of 2022, and he now serves the roles of Assistant Athletic Director and Women's Basketball Head Coach.

 

During his first year at MUAC (2022-2023), the Chargers finished 21-9, advancing to the Semi-Finals of the District tournament, and posting the most victories since the 2017-2018 season. It was only the second time in program history the Chargers have reached 20 wins in a season. He had the opportunity to coach 1st Team All-Region selection Kyra Duncan, plus 1st Team All-Region and All-Freshman selection Jayci Allen. Those two, along with two other graduates are now playing collegiate sports at 4-year institutions.

 

Prior to his arrival at MUAC, Ryan logged more than 15 years of coaching experience at the high school, NAIA, and NCAA Division-III levels. Collectively he came in with a career record of 179-92, including three Sectional Championship, one Regional Championship, and one Semi-State appearance at the high school level, two conference championships at the collegiate level, as well as two appearances in the Division-III National tournament.

 

Ryan is a 1995 graduate of Triton High School in Bourbon, Indiana, and he earned his B.S. in Elementary Education while studying at nearby Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana.
