Shaun McAllister heads into her second season as the MUAC volleyball coach. A former NCAA Division II outside hitter, she spent 14 years as a physical education teacher in Elkhart, Indiana. McAllister is also the Interim Athletic Director.
McAllister has been coaching volleyball for over 15 years with stops at NIVA (Northern Indiana Volleyball Association), Elkhart Memorial High School and Personal Specialized training for athletes.
The Elkhart native and University of Indianapolis graduate owns a bunch of records for the Greyhounds. She was an NCAA Division II All-American as a senior. Career wise; she is #1 in kills with 2,025; #2 in attack attempts with 4,659, and third in hitting percentage at .328. She owns the single season kills record with 662 and has three of the top five marks for kills in a season. McAllister was a four-time selection as an All-Great Lakes Valley Conference player, three times as first team. She was the GLVC Freshman of the Year and was an All-GLVC Academic honoree as a senior.
