Abbigail Griffin and Alexia Nickrent paced the Lady Chargers in the Michigan Community College Athletic Association and National Junior College Athletic Association Region 12 combined tournaments, Saturday, just as they have all season. Griffin advances to the NJCAA Division II Men's Cross Country National Championship on November 11 in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

  Griffin (25:36.9) was 34^th in the Region and 39^th in the MCCAA. Nickrent (27:05.3) was close behind and finished 37^th in the Region and 42^nd in the MCCAA.  Willa Wingard (44:23.4) was 46^th and 50^th in the two events, respectively.
