Will Cramer named Assistant Basketball Coach under Coach Herring this season
Coach William Cramer comes to us with 15 years of coaching experience, ranging from middle school to the collegiate level.  Cramer is very familiar with new Head Coach Jeremy Herring as they both graduated from Jimtown High School.  While there, as a sophomore, Cramer was a part of the 2004 State Championship team.  Adding to that, Athletic Director and former Ancilla Head Basketball Coach, Brian Pearison was an assistant coach at Jimtown during the State run.

Cramer continued his education at Bethel University where he served as a Men's Basketball JV Student-Assistant Coach for two seasons, while earning his Bachelor degree in K-12 Physical Education/Health Education.  Immediately after graduating from Bethel in 2010, Cramer joined the staff at Jimtown Junior High as a boys basketball assistant coach.  The following year he became the Jimtown Junior High girls head coach for three years.  In 2015 he served as the head coach of the Dickinson Fine Arts Academy girls basketball team and then in 2016 he went back to Jimtown to become the girls basketball Head Assistant Coach.  In 2017 Cramer joined the staff at Granger Christian School where he was the boys middle school head coach and the varsity assistant coach.  From 2018-2022 he has been the boys basketball head assistant coach.

William has been a Granger Community Church attendee for the past 15 years where he was baptized in 2008 and engages in #4MICHIANA, the annual Food Drop, Men's Retreat, and other church events.  He is heavily involved at Washington where he serves as a class sponsor, Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) sponsor, Event Manager for home athletic events, PE/Health Department Head, and also teaches SBCSC Virtual School Health and Wellness.

His coaching philosophy is simple: basketball is a great teacher of life.  The lessons learned can help you be successful.  My job as a coach is to help these student-athletes to be successful and do it the right way.

Coach Cramer states "I am excited for this new journey to serve the student-athletes, coaches, staff, administration, and the MUAC community.  I want to thank Coach Herring for this opportunity.  The best is yet to come.  Go Chargers!"
