Centreville, MI – Ancilla College lost a pair of games against Glen Oaks Community College on Friday by identical 9-8 scores.

                In the opener, Ancilla took a 2-0 lead and then played catch up the rest of the way as Glen Oaks scored six runs in the bottom of the third inning.  The Chargers pushed two across in the fourth and three across in the fifth to trail just 8-7. A rally in the top of the seventh fell short for Ancilla.

                The Chargers had 12 hits in the game with Jacob Kalt going three of four with three doubles and three RBI. Sam Kahwaji had three hits in four at-bats with a pair of doubles and two runs scored. He had three RBI. Austyn Nevitt (2-2) got the loss as he was chased in the fourth inning.

                In the second game, Ancilla knocked out 19 hits, but stranded too many base runners.  Rylan Huntley had three hits and two RBI and a run scored. Zachary Woods went three for three with three RBI, and Kalt had three hits and scored twice. Leonard Feckner (0-2) was the loser allowing seven runs on five hits with four strikeouts.
