As the school year winds down for the entire Marian University Ancilla campus, the baseball team is finishing up their season as well. With less than 10 games to go, the Chargers traveled to Battle Creek, Michigan, Saturday to take on the Kellogg Community College Bruins. The Bruins utilized strong pitching, as they allowed just 2 hits each game in a 15-1, 10-0 double-header sweep of the Chargers. Below are some notes from each of today's games.

GAME-1 (L 15-1): Freshmen Aayden Antoine and Aiden Marcus each singled to collect the two hits for the Chargers in this one. Antoine scored the lone Charger run on the day, while Freshman Jaxson Hixson drove him in during second inning action. Freshman Jose Paris added a stolen base in this game.

GAME-2 (L 10-0): In Game-2, Freshman Lucas Hobbs picked up a single in his start at second base, while Aiden Marcus continued his solid day. Marcus was once again 1-for-2 with a single, making him 2-for-4 on the day.

The Chargers have 6 games remaining, beginning with a 4-game series against Lansing Community College next weekend, the first two games being in Lansing on Thursday (5/1). MUAC will end with a double-header Saturday (5/3), again against Lansing, then another double-header Sunday (5/4) against Terra State.
