Josh Pitts has returned to the dugout for the Marian University Ancilla baseball team. He is a 2001 graduate of Ancilla Domini College where he earned an Associates of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies. He then attended and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences. Josh then followed that with a Masters Degree in Addiction Counseling and Psychology.
Coach Pitts spent the 2022-2023 season as an Assistant Coach for the baseball team, the 2023-2024 season as the Head Coach for softball, and prior to that he spent five years on the baseball staff at nearby Knox High School.
At Marian University Ancilla, not only will Coach Pitts be working with the Charger Baseball team, but he is also staying on as an Assistant Coach/Recruiting Coordinator for the Charger softball team. Additionally, he is the Student Success Coordinator, the International Student Success DSO, and is an adjunct faculty member.
