Friday, the Marian University Ancilla men's bowling team participated in the NJCAA Region XII Bowling Championship at Royal Scot Lanes in Lansing, Michigan. There was a singles competition and a doubles competition at the event in which MUAC had three total bowlers participate.

The highlight of the event for the Chargers was Sophomore Dylan Pohl and Freshman Gbolahon Olatoye teaming up to place 3rd in the doubles competition, qualifying them for the National Tournament in two weeks back in Lansing!! The pair scored a 1199 combined and finished just 60 pins behind 1st Place. Congratulations, gentlemen!!

In the singles competition, Pohl finished tied for 16th overall with a score of 589, Olatoye finished 26th overall with a score of 540, and Sophomore Peter Kenney also finished in the Top-50 at 47th overall, with a score of 455.
