Men's Bowling at Nationals

Last weekend, the Marian University Ancilla Men's Bowling team had two bowlers compete in the NJCAA National Tournament in Cheektowaga, New York, a suburb of Buffalo. Sophomore Gbolahon Olatoye competed in the event for the second consecutive year, while Freshman Ayden Stiles made his first trip. Below are some quick notes on how the two performed.

  • The pair teamed up in the Men's Doubles event and finished 25th out of 63 teams with a total of 1116 pins.
  • In Men's Singles, Gbolahon finished 42nd out of 131 entries with a score of 579, while Ayden was 63rd with a score of 549.
  • In the Men's All Event Standings, Gbolahon again finished 42nd out of 131 bowlers with a total score of 2182 and an average of 181.8 pins per game. Ayden finished 57th with a total score of 2108 and an average of 175.7 pins per game over the course of 12 games.
