
DONALDSON, IN – Donte Lloyd, from Brampton, Canada recently signed his National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Letter of Intent to play soccer for the Charger Men's Soccer Team.
Lloyd is a 2015 graduate of St. Edmund Campion High School. The 6'0" 170 pound defensive player brings with him playing experience as a member of the Toronto Lynx soccer team. During his soccer career, his team made it to the Super Y Finals in Florida and lost in penalty. Lloyd was also invited to the Olympic Development Program held at IMG academy.
When asked why he chose Ancilla, Lloyd replied, "Ancilla has a great soccer program and it just seemed like a great place to continue my education and soccer career."
Charger soccer coach Dave Jacobs commented, "We are very excited to have Donte join our Ancilla family. Donte is a very skilled defensive player that can frustrate opponents in any given situation. Donte's character helped make this an easy choice. I am very pleased and happy to have him."
Donte is the son of Marlon Lloyd of Brampton, Canada. While at Ancilla, he plans to study general studies.
