The Marian University Ancilla Men's Soccer team got off to a blistering start on Saturday when they opened their season against Lake Michigan College with a dominant 10-0 win.  Seven different players scored goals and were led by Bryce Taberski's three goals.  Six Charger players assisted on goals led by Carlos Castaneda and Dalian Leach with two assists each.  This talented squad is garnering national attention where they have checked in ranked #20 in the NJCAA Division 2 national rankings.

Bryce Taberski, coming off of his opening game hat trick, said the team has lofty goals this season.

"We have a great team this year and our communication level is very high.  We are bonding on and off the soccer field and we think the sky is the limit for our team.  We are really excited for conference play and we aim to make it all the way to the National Tournament."

The men will return to action on Tuesday, August 30th at home where they will take on the Bethel University Reserve Team at 4:00.
