Kirk Weiss, a 2013 graduate of Ancilla College, and former assistant coach, has been named the new Head Men's Soccer Coach of the Marian University Ancilla program. Kirk is a graduate of LaVille High School in Lakeville, Indiana. In 2010 he decided to take classes at Ancilla College where he earned Associates in Science - Business Administration. Kirk began his connection with the Ancilla athletic department in 2008 when he became an assistant coach with the men's program. He spent three seasons as the assistant coach and also was an assistant for the Ancilla Men's Basketball program for five years.
Coach Weiss has a long connection with the college and is excited to get to work building on the recent success of the program. "Marian University Ancilla holds a special place in my heart and is the only place I want to coach. This is where I graduated from, where I met my wife, and where I have been able to give back as an assistant coach in the past. I know how special this place is and how it can help young men reach for their goals. I have a long term vision for the program we want to build. We will achieve on the soccer field, in the classroom, and we will be responsible members of the community. I cannot wait to get started!"
Kirk is married to his wife Dianna who he met while both were coaches at Ancilla College. The couple has five daughters: Kailyn, Cierra, Katlyn, Kiley, and Kelsi as well as three grandchildren, Henry, Claire, and Jennings.
