The Marian Ancilla Men's Cross Country team began their meet season Friday morning, as they participated in the Skippers Cross Country Showcase at Saint Clair County Community College. The day proved to be a brutal combination of heat, humidity, plus some muddy sections, slowing course conditions and causing runners to post slower-than-normal times.

The Charger men finished in 14th place out of the 16 schools who posted team scores, and 111 of the 122 runners were officially in the Chargers' division. Sophomore David Schadek picked up where he left off as a Freshman, posting the top time for MUAC at 30:11.50. He also placed 27th out of 122 runners in the men's 8k race. Sophomore Tyrie Gregory was next for the Chargers, finshing 81st at 36:35.90.

The Chargers will run again on Friday, September 20th, when they head to Lansing, Michigan. Good luck to our MUAC Men's Cross Country team!!
