Friday morning, the Marian Ancilla Men's and Women's Cross Country teams traveled to St. Clair County Community College for the Region 12 Championship Race. The men finished 15th out of 15 teams at the meet, but four of the five runners posted personal best times, performing as well as a team as they have all season.
Sophomore David Schadek finished 65th overall in the 8k race, with a team-leading time of 30:05.80. Sophomore Tyrie Gregory (33:02.20), Freshman Tayde Kiser (36:38.90), Freshman Rory Bradney (39:36.60), and Redshirt Freshman Jacob Hobbs (40:20.50) all ran their best races as collegians.
The Marian Ancilla Men's Cross Country team concluded their season Friday, but look for a few of these guys to participate with the Track & Field team in the Spring. Congratulations to a nice end to the season, gentlemen!!
