Lansing, MI – Emily Richard scored 15 points and grabbed 11 points to help life Ancilla College (14-11, 8-8) past Lansing Community College 61-48 Saturday afternoon in a Michigan Community College Athletic Association contest. This win avenged a 57-56 lost to this same team at home in January.
Cierra Spearman and Talia Bee added 14 points, each, with Spearman getting 11 rebounds. Jaela Meister finished with 11 points, but got a team and game-high 15 rebounds. Ancilla out-rebounded the hosts 51-36.
The Lady Chargers play their last home game of the season on Monday. The will host Mid Michigan, who is currently in second place in the conference. This will also be Sophomore Day where we will honor our soon to depart players. They will complete their regular season on Wednesday when they travel to Battle Creek, MI to play Kellogg Community College in a 7:30 p.m. contest.
