Plymouth – Kankakee Community College (4-2) used a big first quarter to take a 29-19 halftime lead and let Ancilla get no closer than six points the rest of the way as they beat the Lady Chargers 61-45 in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon.

     Destiny Allen led Ancilla (2-2) with 16 points and six assists, while Alaya Chapman scored 11 points before fouling out.

     The Lady Chargers are back in action at 5;30 p.m. on Monday when Ancilla hosts Morton College in a men's and women's non-conference double header. The men will tip at about 7:30 p.m.
