The Marian University Ancilla bowling teams continued their season Friday when they traveled to Battle Creek, Michigan, for the Kellogg Community College Invitational. While both teams continue to finish with similar overall results, Coach Mark Ringenberg is excited about their growth and improvement. "Although we didn't finish higher this week than last week, the team feels like it was their best team performance this season, and they are coming together stronger as a team," attested Ringenberg.

The women's team finished in 4th Place as a team, and Freshman Allyson Lawson continued her strong play this season. Lawson won the event's individual award for best series with a 551 over three sets. Congratulations Ally!!

The men's rollers finished in 3rd Place as a team, and Freshman Gbolahon Olatoye paced the men with a single-game high of 212. This also set his own personal best mark this season, as he becomes more and more comfortable.

The Charger bowling teams take to the road again this coming Friday, February 2nd, when they head to Montcalm Community College in Sidney, Michigan. The competition is expected to start at 11:00 a.m. ET. Please come out and support the bowlers if you are able!!
