
Friday, the Marian University Ancilla Women's Bowling team participated at the Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) conference tournament at the Merri-Bowl Lanes in Livonia, Michigan. Once the event concluded, the women had finished 8th out of the 9 participating teams with a team score of 5328, with Jackson being crowned as champions.
All of the members of the Women's team played well and really jelled together. Sophomore Sophie Willey led the Women's team in the Overall with 1008 pins, just two ahead of Jenna Yazel's 1006. Katelyn Bryan led the team in Women's Singles with a 414 series, while Willey had the team's best individual game of 175. Bailey Farkas also bowled a personal best game of 154.
