Cutler and Lozano Earn All-MCCAA Honors!

It what was a record-setting season for the MU Ancilla Women's Soccer Team who set a new mark with 5 wins, there were obviously many individual highlights and outstanding performances.  Two of the Charger freshmen were specifically recognized for their outstanding seasons by the MCCAA who released their all-conference awards this week.  Abbigail Cutler (FR - Noblesville HS) and Alessandra Lozano (FR - Goshen HS) both earned All-MCCAA awards as voted on by the conference coaches.

Abbigail Cutler was named to the All-MCCAA 2nd Team and also to the MCCAA All-Freshman Team for her play on the field where she led the Chargers with 8 goals and also with 3 assists which led to a team-leading total of 19 points.  The All-MCCAA 2nd Team selection placed her amongst the top 19 players in the league.  Coach Kalen Saddler had this to say about Cutler, "Abbi had an amazing season where she not only led us in every offensive category, but also led us in clutch goals.  She had many of her goals in huge spots that either gave us a lead or ended up being the winning goal.  She is an amazing young lady off the field as well and has a very bright future ahead of her as a soccer player."

Alessandra Lozano was also recognized for her performance this year as she earned All-MCCAA Honorable Mention.  Lozano finished her season second on the team with 6 goals and 2 assists for a total of 14 points.  Lozano was one of fifteen players who earned the Honorable Mention award.  Coach Saddler had this to say about Lozano, "Alessandra is such a dynamic player with the ball.  She also had key goals and a couple of key assists for us this year that directly led to winning.  Alessandra is poised for a huge Sophomore season and is a corner stone for our program."
