The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) announced its women's soccer award winners from the Fall season, and a Charger women's soccer player earned honorable mention honors for her play.

Freshman goalkeeper Sophie Willey earned honorable mention honors for her strong play between the pipes. She came up with an impressive 165 saves on the season!! Sophie joined the MUAC program after graduating from Danville Community High School in Danville, Indiana.

The Chargers finished 1-18 this year, with Sophie actually playing out of position and scoring the game-winning goal in their win. Congratulations to Sophie on her accomplishment from the 2023 soccer season!!
