The Marian University Ancilla women's track & field team took part in the 2-day Indiana Little State meet at Indiana Wesleyan University this past Friday and Saturday. The women have gotten strong contributions from their field participants all season, and this weekend was no different.

Sophomore Lucy Lillis, a graduate of mighty Milan High School, had a nice throw of 23.72 meters in the Javelin, and it allowed her to finish in 21st Place overall at the Little State event.

Another Sophomore, Grace Cygan, formerly of South Central High School (Union Mills), threw a personal best of 6.87 meters in the Shot Put. Grace finished in 38th Place with that performance. She also participated in the Discus, throwing 19.0 meters and setting a personal best in that event for the 5th consecutive meet!!
