In a final tuneup for the Region 12 Cross Country Championship in a couple of weeks, the Marian Ancilla Women's Cross Country team attended the Bethel Invitational Friday afternoon. The Chargers found the course a bit challenging, finishing 14th out of 14 teams at the event.

Freshman Ciara Bonner was on pace to set the school record for the third time in as many races, but she had a stumble late in the race, and she still finished with the school's second fastest time for a female runner at 23:26.90. Freshman Chloe Szumanski (28:49.00) and Sophomore Lucy Lillis (29:12.90) also ran sub-30-minute races for the Chargers.

As mentioned before, Marian Ancilla is slated to run in the Region 12 Cross Country Championship next Friday, October 25th. Please come out and support the Chargers, if you are able!!
